The aim of this page is to provide information on key elements related to the MAP programme for a smooth and successful course of studies. MAP Curriculum ('Studienverlaufsplan')

MAP Curriculum

The following charts show the MAP curriculum valid form winter semester 2019/2020.

This table shows the MAP curriculum of the primary course. The lectures and seminars, the miniproject, the scientific and soft skills are scheduled for the first to the third semester. In the forth semester, MAP students work on their Master's thesis. In the first semester, students can reach 32,5 ECTS, in the second semeseter 27,5 ECTS, in the third and forth semester 30 ECTS each. The different subjects are examined in different ways.

The elective course (M22) and the soft skills (M23) are scheduled with 5 ECTS each for the second semester. The second miniproject (M24) and the internship in an industrial company (M25) with 10 ECTS each are scheduled for the third semester.

Programme Regulation

The MAP programme regulation (Fachprüfungsordnung) is provided by the Student Records Office. Students need to be aware that even though there is an English translation available, only the German text of the programme regulation (Fachprüfungsordnung) is legally binding.
