Kasra Sardashti is currently Assistant Professor at Clemson University (SC, USA).
Some stages of his academic development:

· MAP Focal Subjects: Nanotech and Biomaterials

· Master’s Thesis at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light

· PhD in Materials Science & Engineering at UC San Diego, California

· 4 years as postdoc at Duke University (1 year) and New York University (3 years)

· Since 2021: Department of Physics and Astronomy at Clemson University (SC, USA)

His research team works in the exciting field of quantum information science and technology. They design and fabricate superconducting devices for quantum information processing. Their research is particularly relevant to Nanomaterials and Advanced Processing focal topics.
