FAU retains its position as one of the top 200 in the world

New THE ranking has been published

In the international Times Higher Education World University Rankings, FAU was again listed among the top 200 universities worldwide for 2021. FAU ranked 198 of over 1500 universities internationally. The University performed well in all areas of the ranking, but did particularly well in the area of research, where it was again ranked at place 150, and in industry income, where it ranked at place 85.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings has been published annually since 2004. It is compiled in collaboration with Elsevier and counts as one of the most influential international university rankings beside the QS World University Ranking and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). In the current edition, 1527 top universities were evaluated based on 13 indicators relevant to teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.
