15 nations represented by MAP class starting in 2019

On 14 October 2019, the new MAP class 2019 started their studies with a record number of 32 students (16 female / 16 male) from 15 countries. The MAP chairs, the MAP office staff, and all MAP lecturers and supervisors warmly welcome our MAP junior students. We wish them a very successful time within MAP and many helpful inputs for their further career.

Many of our new students arrived already in early September for introductory sessions, intensive German language courses, academic pre-courses and personal timetable discussions with our MAP chairs. Therefore, most of the new students already know each other by name and have made themselves familiar with the FAU campus and the city of Erlangen. These experiences will help the MAP junior students to quickly adjust to the high demands of the MAP programme.

Congratulations to these new students as they were hand picked out of 667 applications in 2019!
