Known accessibility issues

Listing and explanation of the problems with the implementation of the accessibility of this website.

Content that is not accessible to people with disabilities

  • PDF documents created before 23.09.2018 could not yet be converted to an accessible format.
  • PDF documents created after 23.09.2018 do not yet have an accessible format.

Reason

The content of the PDF-documents, which can be downloaded, is described in the pictures with the same content directly on the respective pages of the MAP website.

Several videos are provided on the MAP website. The content of these videos is not essential to understand the MAP programme. They are mostly provided by third parties. MAP provides the links to these videos in order to help prospective students and others who are interested in the MAP programme to learn more about its scientific environment, Germany, and the region in general. Much of the video content is orally given and therefore, we recommend to use specific speech recognition programmes when needed. The same applies to the video from a MAP alumni on how he has benefited from the MAP programme.

Some maps are without route descriptions and also provided by third parties.

Alternative access routes

If you need any assistance regarding the content of PDF-documents, videos or maps, please contact the MAP Office by email using our email-address map-office@fau.de or the contact form on our MAP website. We will assist you to get the needed information.
