MAP Focal Subject Head elected Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences

Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini (Head of Institute of Biomaterials, Department of Materials Science and Engineering and MAP Focal Subject Head of Biomaterials and Bioprocesses) has been elected Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences (EurASc) in recognition for his outstanding contributions to science and technology. The Fellow diploma was presented to Prof. Boccaccini at the EurASc Ceremony 2022, which took place in Brussels, Belgium, on 24-25 October 2022. The European Academy of Sciences (EURASC) is a non-profit non-governmental, independent organization formed by distinguished scholars and engineers performing forefront research and development and it is committed  to promoting science and technology and their essential roles in fostering social and economic development. On his election as Fellow of EurASc, Prof. Boccaccini said: “It is a true honor to have been elected Fellow of EurASc. I look forward to working together with other members of the academy, particularly in the Materials Science Division but also in collaboration with scholars of other divisions to promote science and technology in our society.”
