Our visit to the Erlangen Christmas market together was simply magical! The MAP Office team met up with the students in the evening in front of the music stage on Schlossplatz in the city center of Erlangen. The students from the newest MAP batch attended particularly numerous, which we were very pleased about. Needless to say, we were also very delighted to see some of the older MAP students as well!

As expected, the atmosphere at the Christmas market was very festive and immediately captivated all visitors with its cozy Christmas village ambience. Apart from the typical German live brass band music, the visitors could enjoy numerous booths! Of course, the booths selling Glühwein and other hot beverages, which smelled wonderfully wintry, were the most popular. However, there was also a wide range of delicious desserts, pastries and sweets, as well as traditional German cuisine, such as Bratwurstbrötchen and Käsespätzle. The small but mighty Erlangen Christmas market thus offered a great selection of delicacies for all tastes!

Due to the diversity of our MAP students, many of them never visited a Christmas market before! Therefore, for many of our international students, it was an extra special experience. This visit put everyone in a contemplative mood for the winter and made our MAP community bond once again.

We would like to thank you all for the wonderful evening and look forward to many more to come!
